Chinatown visit.

This is the continuation of this post. I know this is way late, but I’ll do it anyway. :-P

After our Little India visit, we went straight to Chinatown, just roughly 15 minutes away from Little India.

We visited just one temple. The temple is called Thian Hock Keng. It is located in Chinatown Singapore, in Telok Ayer Street.

When we arrived, there were Chinese tourists who also went to visit the temple. They were composed of mostly grandmums and granddads. They did their worship and like us, roamed the entire temple.

I like the temple very much. Especially its altar. Did you know, when I was taking some shots of the altar, my dad told me it was prohibited, there was a sign saying “No photography allowed at this point”. I didn’t know, so I was sorry. Hahaha. But have some shots anyway. :-P

We left the temple along with the Chinese tourists. But the Chinese tourists had a group picture before going. It’s nice seeing them, they seem really happy.

We should have visited another temple or the Chinatown proper but we were very hungry and it’s almost 2pm that time already. So we decided to head straight to a mall to each lunch-slash-merienda.

We ate at a food court in Marina Square. And we ate this (with rice). It’s friend peking duck and pork.

So, that was our entire trip. As what I’ve said in this post, though it was short, it was very memorable and I had fun. :-)
